Tanna Hotels and Resorts
Tanna is famous for its Mount Yasur volcano - the most active volcano in Vanuatu. This one feature draws many tourists each year and - along with other sightseeing attractions - makes Tanna one of the favourite adventure destinations in Vanuatu. There are lots of guest houses and bungalow accommodation on the island. The main town is Lenakel though nearby Isangel is the administrative centre. The airport, located on the north-western part of the island near White Grass Ocean Resort, sees several return flights each day operating out of Port Vila by the domestic airline Vanair. Other attractions include Port Resolution, where Captain James Cook visited in 1774 and named it after his ship the HMS Resolution, as well as many kastom villages where travellers can view ancient tribal customs and traditions still practiced today.More information on Tanna accommodation is coming soon.
